This was probably one of my favorite products from this box! I love this lipgloss, for me it was perfect consistency! Not too sticky perfect color. I have nothing negative to say. imPress Press- on Manicure is a new phenomena! These were sent to me thru influenster vox box program! Check out Influenster if you haven't yet! Well the design I got was a bright pink zebra design. At frist I was like whoa these are not for me but once I tried them wow! super cute, The only downfall in my case is that my natural nails were longer than the nails so had to cut them =( but worth it because I had an instant manicure that lasted six days it says 7 days but with all the dishes I wash It's impossible lol. Simply Smooth Xtend Magic Potion is just that, MAGIC! I was skeptical to try as most things that say work like magic ...well don't. But when I tried this.....heaven! lol seriously, I take a shower with shampoo and no conditioner, when i get out and my hair is damp, I apply this all over my hair, I then blow dry or on my lazy days air dry and it makes my hair feel so smooth and the split ends are noticeably, unnoticeable...if that makes sense? lol This product also helps with giving my hair more volume as it does not drag it down like my other conditioner I use in the shower. Vitabath was the thrid product in my influenster cosmobox. I received the cupcake couture. This is one of the best smelling body washes I have ever came across. It really smells just like a cupcake. I love the lather it creates on a loofa sponge. Makes showering that much more enjoyable. You do not feel that nasty extra film that other body washes leave behind you feel clean and refreshed. Part of my influenster box had the 3 step regimen. When I was younger, I had tried proactiv, but being young I did not really keep up with it like I should and even then it made a difference. I stopped using it and now this time around I am loving it. If I do get a pimple it heals so quick and they are not hard and super red. The only downfall is that my face is more oily then ususal using this. Hey ladies!

Busy month this has been. Just got back from visiting in laws in Idaho last week. It was a nice vacation. I enjoyed every day of it =).

Makeup update: I have been working with a photography company here locally....Wyld Concepts Photography and I really love it. They are sweet and fun people. A couples week back I began my professional portfolio with them to showcase makeup. I will post some pics from it below, the models were great and overall i had a great time. I will be helping with upcoming projects as well, I am just sooo excited!

Youtube update: I have not been making many videos =( reason? I cant seem to set up a place that is convenient and easy for me to film. For one I feel like I need a new camera...HD! yea, i feel like i owe it to you all to have a cam with great quality. then i need a place where i can see what i am doin in a mirror and also record. But hopefully ill get that soon! I miss doing videos.

My sis came to visit for spring break

This past spring break my sis came to visit from college. That was probably one of our best highlights. Growing up, my sister and I were close, but not as close as i wish we were. Now that she is away in college, I wish we could have spent more quality time when we both lived at home. She is such an inspiration to me. Yes, she is my younger sister but she motivates me to be the best me i can be. I love her and miss her dearly! <3 not to mention my daughter, oh my she loves her like crazy. But they skype it lol =)

Hello beautifuls! So i was sent these products to review from an amazing website if I may say so myself. This site sells nyx products at a super affordable price. Now come on, I know we love us some NYX products, and even better, at prices we can afford. Here are some swatches and pictures of the products I was sent.

First I was sent the NYX HD studio foundation and primer. if you are wondering this color is in Warm sand, which was a little dark for me but mixing it with a lighter foundation fixed it. =) Let me tell you about the primer first, the primer has no color, it helps smooth out lines and even helps out smooth scars that will help your foundation look more flawless! =) I tried this with bot the nyx foundation and other foundations I had and it did the trick no matter what foundation I used. It helped stay on for longer and helped the application look more like an airbrush application. I absolutely love it <3! The foundation is also amazing. The consistency is not too runny, actually it is quite thick, something that I personally like as i love full coverage, which it totally gave me! I recommend this for oily skin as i have super oily skin. Now i have never found a foundation that keeps me matte all day, but I can say that with this foundation I only needed 2 quick touchups all day. I loved it!(ps. I cant say that the foundation is completely matte, there is a little but of sheen to it but i think for spring it is nice plus it is not like a gross sheen where you look super oily, it is more of a glow.) The foundation goes for $13.50 for 1.26oz you need very little for full coverage so it will last you a long time =) The primer goes for $12.65 for 1.16 oz and as the foundation will also last you a long time.

Next they sent me this NYX soft matte lip cream. Yup LIP CREAM not lip gloss. It is so beautiful! It feels more like a mousse really soft on your lips, almost feels like if you applied powder on your lips when it dries, it is soft and not wet! I fell in love with the feeling of it. the color is so soft and beautiful. There is a variety of colors to choose from check them out!

Finally my favorite! The nude on nude palette. This palette include 20 shadows and below it 10 lip colors! How cool is that. perfect for traveling. The colors are very pigmented and beautiful! I swatched them and posted pictures below, but let me warn you, they look beautiful in pics, but the pics do not do the colors justice! They are so much more beautiful than the pictures could capture! the first picture is the top row and the next two are the bottom row.

Hope everyone had an amazing weekend! I type this blog not looking forward to going back to school for the spring term. Tonight I have a class from530 to 920.... that is one of the longest classes I have ever took! ahhhhh! Soda addiction!

Oh my how I love me my cola. Lemme tell you, I have drank soda since I was a little girl. I love it. This lent, i decided to give it up for 40 days. The first week was hell! I felt like I was leaving a drug. I felt depressed, headaches, ugh just horrible. Now im into my second week, and I am feeling great. I think this might just be more than a 40 day soda cut. I feel more energetic and healthier overall. I think that this is a great change that I am making in my life and a change that will benefit my health and control my weight. Soda is ADDICTING people. And as we all know totally unhealthy. So I really recommend you give it a try and quit. I am hoping I will lose a couple pounds now that I am not drinking soda. But who knows... Do any of you have any weight loss stories from leaving soda? lemme know! I will keep you guys updated on my progress! =)

A little late, but Happy New year to all of you!

I cant say that 2010 was my year, but it wasn't the worst year either. I spent a lot of time with my daughter, started a you tube channel which I greatly enjoy and finally returned back to school.

This year, I don't have any resolutions. The reason being that I never stick with them. SOo I am just going to call them personal goals. This year I want to think more positive, convert all my negative thoughts and energy into positive.

By the way have you guys heard of "the secret"

I've been looking into this and I really want to read it, I've hear reviews and seem some previews of the movie. It is a subject that really fascinates me. Preety much it says that focused positive thinking can have life-changing results like wealth, health, and happiness. There is a lot of controversery going on about this book, many say that it gives readers false hopes. the book says for example if you are always thinking that you dont want a ticket and focusing your energy on not getting a ticket guess what.... you get a ticket at the wrong moment in time. Now in a positive way, if you focus so much on getting the car of your dreams they say using this positive energy you will get the car of your dreams. I know kinda confusing but I hope you guys can catch the concept. So as to the false hopes I can see how that can happen, cuz in reality you probably are not going to get what you want just by focusing and thinking about it positively. But if you are smart you will take the message from this book in a good way and turn all your negative thinking and feelings into positive ones. You might not get all that you want, but you are sure to live more of a peaceful happy life. =)

H20 Sea Pure Natural Anti-Aging

So I was sent these products to review for beautystat. It is a skin care line that is made up of natural sea derived minerals. A quick description of my skin: I have never really had acne, I do get like one horrible pimple at least every two weeks that just kills my whole face and I seem to never be able to avoid it. I have really oily skin, primarily in the T-zone area. Lets begin with the smell of the products, WOW! I love the smell. It is so refreshing, like a fresh sea breeze. I love it. Always relaxes me when I use it. I will explain under each product when and how I use it below. Overall, I believe this has made a huge improvement in my skin. I would always purchase drug store products that were strong because I felt that was the only way to control my pimples. This skincare line is so gentle on your skin but still does an amazing job. I highly recommend this. Now of course everyone's skin is different and will react differently but I can say I recommend you look around their website and try out products that are right for your skin type.

I first begin by splashing my face with lukewarm water. I take a small amount of this creamy facial cleanser, and massage it all over my face and neck. When I go to rinse my hands I see all the makeup and dirt it has cleaned, It makes me feel clean and refreshed. I use this before bed, and as I wake up, since I wake up with a super oily face.

Next I exfoliate. This is such a gentle exfoliater, gentle enough to use everyday. I use this only before bed and it leaves my skin soft. I can definitely tell it removes dead cells from my skin.

This I use before bed and when I wake up as well, This is the toner and it really refreshes your skin. It takes of that extra dirt that your cleanser didn't get. Also gentle on the skin.

After my skin is clean and pat dry, I apply just a tiny amount to my eyes. I do this before bed only. You really need just the littlest amount. It is really creamy and soothing.


Finally I apply the full moisturizer all over my face and neck. I only use this at night. In the morning I use an oil control moisturizer because this is so creamy it makes my face oilier if I use too much.

Im sitting here uploading a video, which i am really happy about, I love how it came out. But yet I am not happy with my youtube channel anymore. Why is that? I feel like I am so into my channel but I feel like it is not good enough. Is this like some type of disease lol like u always want better for ur channel. Right now I am wanting to get a mac- if the hubby decides to get me onw because they are spendy... but I want it because the video quality of macs is preety good and i think my editing would be better on there. I want to give my subbies the best videos i can i feel like i just record myself doing makeup and do not fully explain myself....I want people to really enjoy my vids and see them helpful, I want to begin making videos on more fashion tips instead of just makeup, but when im ready to make a vid my mind goes blank... i need to just write notes down and go from there i gues.. anyways with that said.... i hope u guys enjoy my latest vid.....its on how to achieve a daytime smokey eye.... check it out =)

Here are some picture from the redwood forest first, this was such a fun trip. below are picture of crescent city at the aquarium.

The aquarium was so fun! Hubby volunteered and they made him stick his tounge out and get stung by an anemone jaja he is so brave for that. below are pictures at the coast in crescent city.

So I was sent this bottle of spray shine for review, so let me tell you guys what I love and dont love about this,

really, there is only one thing that would make me not love this and the only way is if you use too much and in the wrong spot. other than that it is amazing i love it! The smell is theis yummy citrus smell, not to strong just the right scent. It really gives my hair life and shine on those days when my hair just feels extra dry and dull. It gives it gorgeous shine. I usually only apply to the ends, since i already have oily hair, adding it to the roots would only make my hair look gross! but as far as my ends it adds movement to them and makes my hair appear much healthier that it already is. I totally recommend it!
